With nearly two decades of experience in the golf industry, Chris has built a distinguished career as both a player and a coach. He served as 1st Assistant PGA Professional at Rock Creek (2005-2019), Head Professional at Quail Valley (2019-2021), and Head Professional at Pumpkin Ridge (2021-2022).
A former mini-tour player (2001-2003), he holds a course record at Rock Creek (63) and was the 2010 Oregon PGA Pro-Assistant Champion. His passion for teaching led him to a full-time coaching role in Austin, TX (1998-2000), and he has since earned ADM and Modern Coach certifications, along with a 2021 Oregon Chapter Teacher of the Year nomination.
Recognized for his contributions to the game, he has twice been named Oregon PGA Assistant Professional of the Year (2008, 2024) and was honored as the 2024 PNW PGA Section Assistant Professional of the Year. His dedication extends beyond competition, serving on multiple PGA committees, including as Oregon PGA Secretary and Awards Committee Chair.
In 2024, he was named Tualatin Country Club’s first-ever Historian, sharing his deep knowledge of the game through club history presentations and community engagement.
